Return transfer in accordance with the Dublin Regulation

The Dublin Regulation regulates which EU country is responsible for examining an asylum application. But what happens if refugees are to be returned to another EU country? What rights do they have and what does the process look like?

To ensure that those affected at least do not have to leave without information, we have created Dublin information sheets that contain important information on the respective countries of return – from the legal framework to practical tips on the ground.

Our Dublin information sheets must not be used as general proof for existing support in the respective countries: In many countries, there are only a few permanent support structures and many services offering help are short-term projects and not subsidised on a regular basis.
